Find a Provider/School

Whether you are looking to take your first lesson, hire equipment, or take an advanced training course, choosing an ASI Accredited Provider (an accredited school or an independent instructor operating a business) ensures you are learning with an operator that holds verified credentials and has formally committed to upholding ASI’s international safety and operational standards.

All ASI accredited schools and accredited provider businesses are listed on the official ASI Worldwide Map, allowing you to easily locate verified operations across the globe.

2. Select Your Location

3. Verify Operator Details

Click on any listed provider or school to view their full profile, contact information, accredited disciplines, and current accreditation status.

Proof of ASI Accreditation

ASI maintains strict compliance and safety guidelines. Every accredited operator receives official documentation confirming their active status.

  • Official ASI Certificate of Accreditation: Displayed at the school or business premises or listed on their website, showing their current accreditation period.
  • ASI Instructor Card: Individual certified instructors hold a current ASI card specifying their qualifications, safety ratings, and active status.
  • ASI Worldwide Map Listing: Only currently compliant schools and accredited provider businesses appear on the official ASI map directory. Instructors employed by a school are verified through their school’s accredited listing rather than an individual map entry.

Finding Genuine ASI Accredited Providers & Instructors

While many schools and instructors display the ASI logo, displaying the logo alone does not guarantee that a provider or instructor is currently active or accredited. Unauthorized use of the ASI logo occurs, which is why it is essential to verify an operator's active accreditation status.

How to Verify Genuine Accreditation

  • Check the Official ASI Worldwide Map: The ASI Worldwide Map is the only official, real-time directory of currently active schools and accredited provider businesses. If an operator business is not listed on our map, they are not currently accredited by ASI—regardless of whether they display our logo.
  • Request to See Their Current Certificate or Card:
    • Accredited Schools & Providers: Hold an official ASI Certificate of Accreditation showing the current valid year/period.
    • Certified Instructors: (Including those working for an accredited school) carry a valid ASI Instructor Card detailing their individual qualifications and active status.

Reporting Unauthorized Logo Use

ASI strictly enforces its intellectual property and safety standards to protect consumers and maintain industry integrity.

If you suspect a school, provider business, or instructor is displaying the ASI logo without active accreditation:

  1. Check the ASI Worldwide Map to confirm the business status.
  2. Contact ASI directly at info@academyofsurfing.com with the details or website URL so our team can investigate and take appropriate action.
